This is another absolute gem for any golfer by Karl Morris and Gary Nicol! I really loved the chapter on GRATITUDE! The authors are very right in saying that we should really enjoy every game, since we have only a limited amount of rounds left! If you apply the simple techniques that are described in the book, you will find a whole new experience on the golf course! It is amazing how LIBERATING it feels to simply ask, “ What is the shot here?”, and then CREATE that shot in that unique moment of time! This book is a fantastic follow-up from the first book, “The Lost Art of Putting”. I cannot recommend it highly enough!

Disclaimer. I am lucky enough to be able to see Gary for lessons. This book captures their training ideas and lets you sit down at your own speed and absorb the ideas they are trying to get across. Not always possible in a golf lesson.
As someone who has suffered the yips, being told by your friends “once you get them, you have them for life” makes you almost want to give the game up. If this book does nothing else, it gives yippers like me a lifeline. They have the evidence that it can be cured and after applying the ideas in the book, its working for me.

Karl & Gary have produced another blinder. If you liked the first book on the lost art of putting and think the rest of the game could do with a mindset change this book is for you. It continues on the previous theme of providing concepts and no technical information and is backed with strong research which is very informative. I also really liked the anecdotes and the guest writers who provide a different flavour from the previous book. Definitely a book if you feel your golf game can go up another level to achieve the next breakthrough.

Karl and Gary have found the perfect blend of technique and performance skills to de-mystify the art of putting to enable the possible weakness in a golfers game to be a position of strength. The structure of the book and informal style enables a golfers to skim through the chapters and focus on what is their area of interest. Also Karl’s philosophy of staying in the moment and personalising the lessons comes strongly through. A definite read for the golfer wanting to take putting to the next level.
